Five whalers left the port of Kushiro on 1 July 2019 (Hokkaido Island), inaugurating the resumption of commercial whaling after Japan withdrew from the International Whaling Commission (IWC) in December 2018.
Whales are mammals.
In whales, gestation lasts from 11 to 12 months. At birth, the baby-whales is 7 meters long for 3 tons. His mother will breastfeed for 7 months before being weaned.
These peaceful giants could crush divers or small boats, but they do not. But in the name of obsolete traditions of human watches will massacre them with impunity.
Shame on the whale meat eaters!
