The landscape of Italian Tuscany is arid, devoid of hedgerows or majestic trees.
This is all because mankind has uprooted everything in its way to be able to cultivate large plots of land, on which it has sprayed herbicides and pesticides for decades to ensure maximum yield.
The humble dung beetle simply collects a ball of shit and rolls it back to its burrow. The seeds contained in this ball will enable them to feed themselves and thus survive.
The dung beetle has not tried to coerce Nature. It has adapted and survives on what Nature gives it.
Nature graciously offers us treasures that should suffice for our survival.
By trying to constrain her, decade after decade, we have created a life of life-destroying efforts. Even though we were living in a generous Paradise.
